It's that time again!
So what if...
I am super excited about Christmas this year. I have plans on going Hallmark Christmas movie crazy on Thanksgiving break. And I let Clark Griswold go nut-so at Home Depot buying all the lights. T is excited about it and I LOVE IT. We have been reading Christmas stories at bedtime. He gets so enthralled with Christmas trees- I can't wait to go buy ours this year.
I have reached that point in the semester where I can't wait for it to be over. At the same time, I am strangely excited about next semester. I'm a weird-o. Guaranteed I will make myself crazy the next few weeks devising study plans and lists and then putting it off.
I was late to work this morning because T said, "Way down wif me, Mama." I'm sorry, son- I couldn't hear you over my heart melting. I can't wait to be off with him next week.
Yesterday was basically a carb fest. I was super stressed about school yesterday and I totally gave in to my inner-fatty. I had goldfish crackers for breakfast, Auntie Anne's pretzel sticks on the way to school, and Chick-fil-A waffle fries for "lunch". I even made Spicy Sausage Pasta (I did use wholegrain pasta...does that even matter, really?) for dinner last night. Sorry, not sorry.
I have my first race this weekend. I am two parts freaking-the-shiz-out and one part excited. I don't really feel prepared at all, but I am going to do my best. And when I leave there, I am going to go to Thanksgiving at my Aunt's house. BOOM.
